Good News Re-Visits 70’s LA for SS21

The collection features sustainable materials from eyelets to soles; recycled and natural rubber soles, organic cotton laces, recycled metal eyelets, eco glue, eco footbeds, natural dye and even incorporates vintage fabrics with a no production footprint.

GOOD NEWS' SS21 collection was produced taking into consideration the recent Global challenges, but with a considered approach that we are all connected and have a responsibility to make positive change, tapping into the brands mission statement that; "When you're small, you gotta fix what you can". The British contemporary footwear brand GOOD NEWS is committed to producing conscious sneakers with a simple goal; To create a platform they can use to promote a healthy planet. Giving back, one step at a time.

Recent times have acted as a springboard for the brand to introduce further change and development; with extra time, has come new ideas and a heightened passion to produce fully sustainable products through thoughtful research, and new manufacturing methods that have sustainability at the core.

For SS21 GOOD NEWS re-visited a time of freedom of expression, rebellion and community spirit, within 70’s LA. The new collection displays a light mood with fringes and freys, which echoes across the entire collection alongside dreamy sunset hues and a fresh vibrant pallet. Vintage Moroccan Raffias and natural dye Ombré compliment the palette and attitude in equal measure.

The SS21 has a clear message: one of freedom, community and to spread joy and positivity. GOOD NEWS has created conscious sneakers that reduce our CO2 footprint and promote positive change, in a time when good news has never been so important.
